Meet the Staff - Albert E. Catelli
Al has experience formulating marketing plans; creating and implementing recruitment, admissions and retention plans; organizing and managing annual fund drives and capital campaigns; organizing, creating, and implementing strategic plans; designing, writing, and publishing brochures, viewbooks and newsletters; designing, determining content and administering both school and alumni web sites; designing, constructing and managing computer databases for both admissions and development; and planning, coordinating and managing numerous admissions and development events. Al served as a full-time consultant with Catholic School Management for four years (2000-2004) before returning to Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts as Assistant Development Director/Alumni Director in September 2004. During his eight-year tenure (1992-2000) as Admissions Director at Bishop Stang, the school’s enrollment increased over twenty-five percent (25%) from 125 available seats to capacity enrollment with an additional 60 students in the "wait pool." In July 2007, Al Catelli was named to the administrative team of a new Catholic high school located in Hyannis, Massachusetts, Pope John Paul II High School. Al is serving as the Director of Admissions, Director of Athletics, and Director of Advancement for the school. A native of Massachusetts, Al was educated in Catholic schools until college. Al holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies and Mathematics Education from Florida State University. June 2009 |
